(I let you imagine how I freak before each gig due to these technical non musical issues) => I seriously (sadly) think of an alternate solution, unless someone having experimented the same issues finally solved everything to make this installation definitely stable. Of course, the last two occur very sparingly, but it is already too much, specially on stage. Interface frozen (pads, buttons…), not reproducible, audio is still output.

Note that the XLR to TRRS adapter also provides a headphone out port to monitor our audio. Our setup of adapters looks like this: Sony wireless receiver with XLR output > XLR to TRRS adapter > Lightning headphone adapter. The configuration screen will look like this: The 'Directory' on the left is a list of devices that can connect with wireless MIDI. In this example, we’re going to connect a Sony wireless lavalier microphone to an iPhone. This is where youll make sure your iPad connects to your desktop.

It is fine in the studio but it is simply not acceptable to face the bugs I had no later than yesterday on stage: To summarize the different bugs to which I’ve been exposed (over the last months): I send the sync signal over MIDI (not USB) and use the OS1.30 (No OverBridge). I’ve been working (should I say struggling) hard on making the sync with Ableton (being master) work fine but I am still not completely satisfied by the situation I have. Incorporating the AR into my workflow completely changed my way of programming drums, but there is a “but”: I really love my AR, simply the best sequencer on a drum machine I ever used.
